Master degree in Materials Science

UniTo's Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) invites the entire university community, starting with students, to produce and submit abstracts for the international conference ‘Undergraduate Research’ to be held in Turin on 11 and 12 September.

By ‘abstracts’ we mean contributions and experiences, disciplinary or interdisciplinary, which must relate to the themes of the conference: undergraduate research (UR) is an innovative didactic approach used in university education; it consists of a training experience involving guided and creative research activities carried out directly by the students under the supervision of lecturers and researchers. The UR is expected to contribute to the development of transversal skills, to promote the creation of mentoring communities between lecturers and students, and to foster academic success.
In addition, the potential of Research-Based Learning (RBL) and Team-Based Learning (TBL) will be explored during the conference, exploring teaching models, implementation strategies and their impact in university contexts from the experiences of international lecturers and experts.

The abstracts will therefore provide useful food for thought and discussion for the conference.

• Submit by 15 June 2025
• Format: max 1500 characters
• Outcome communication: mid-July
• Participation is free of charge

The conference will be held at the MBC Campus in via Nizza 52, Turin.
