Course objectives
The goal of the project is to sustain the learning and the motivation of children and teenagers, aged 9 to 17, affected by the educational crisis produced by the Covid-19 pandemic crisis.

Other training activities are acknoledged after presentation of a specific demand and approval by the Commissione Didattica, as open credits. List of acknoledging activities:
Activities under the project "Volunteers for Education" in cooperation UNITO-Save The Children. 3 CFUs will be acknoleged at the end of the activity
Each volunteer, properly trained, will be tutoring online a single child/teenager or a small group of children/teens, helping them improving and achieving their educational goals. Only italian speakers (B2) can apply
All volunteers will be supported by Save the Children through two training moments before they start their journey and better support their students. The first training, to be carried out when preferred as on-demand, will last 4 hours; the second will last 2 hours and will be an online meeting where the volunteers can exchange and ask questions referring to a professional educator.
CFU's acknoledging demand must be presented to the CdS within the established terms for presentation of the didactic load, using the form "Richiesta di riconoscimento altre attività". The filled form must be send by e-mail to the didactic Manager of the course.

Course delivery
To join the program, two availabilities per week are required (1.5 hours each so 3 hours per week,weekends excluded) in the afternoon (between 2pm and 6pm: Italy GMT/UTC). Minimum period for tutoring: 3 months.

Volunteers for education will issue a certificate after successful partecipation to the project to be presented for ackoledgement of CFU
