Course delivery

  • proprietà dielettriche dei materialii: 4 CFU;
  • materiali superconduttori: 2 CFU.

This module of the course is organized in 6 credits (48 hours) of frontal lectures.

The course is organized in 2 parts:

  • dielectric properties of materials: 4 credits;
  • superconducting materials: 2 credits.

The course is given in English language.

SANITARY EMERGENCY: In concurrence with the sanitary emergency, all lectures will be given online in synchronous mode, i.e. by following the planned timetable of the lectures during the teaching period. The video-lectures will consist of live recordings of the lectures given to the students, or alternatively of recordings of lectures given remotely by the teachers. In both cases, the recordings will be downloadable from the e-learning/moodle webpage of the course. The laboratory sessions in physical presence will be guaranteed, compatibly with the concurrent rules of access to the institute, particularly with regards to the maximum number of students allowed at the same time in the laboratories. Possible modifications to the laboratory sessions timetable will be evaluated by the teachers on the basis of the above-mentioned rules of access.

Learning assessment methods

The exam will consist in oral questions in which the understanding of the contents of the frontal lectures will be evaluated.

SANITARY EMERGENCY: in concurrence with the COVID-19 emergency situation, and in compliance with the rectoral decree rep. 1097/2020 of 20/03/2020, the exams will be organized with the above-described modalities, by adopting the Webex tele-conference platform. In particular, following a consolidated procedure, each evaluation commission will be composed by at least two teachers, and at least one student will participate as witness.
