Extended graduation deadline Academic Year 2020/2021 and special final dissertation session

According to legislative decree 12/24/2021(Proroga dello stato di emergenza nazionale e ulteriori misure per il contenimento della diffusione dell'epidemia da COVID-19), the deadline of academic year 2020/21 has been delayed to June 15th 2022.

Therefore it’ s possible to defend a master thesis in Materials Science and graduate until June 15th for academic year 2020/21.


  1. students who are regularly enrolled for academic year 2020/21 at the second year
  2. students who are irregularly enrolled for academic year 2020/21, if they haven’t made any change in their career plan.

    Students belonging to the second group will get the refund of the fees 2021/22, if already paid, according to Regolamento tasse e contributi.

Warning
Students enrolled for the second year in 2021/22 are not allowed to graduate in this extended degree session.

Graduating application documents (MyUnito): from March 21st to 31st

Thesis online publication (receipt): maximum 10 days before graduation day.

Curricular exams (only for students who have applied for this extended degree sessions) can be registered from 20 April to 13 May. The exams will be defined by the teacher after receiving a request from the students.

  • To assess responsibly the real possibility of taking all the missing exams; the indication given by the degree course is that to access the extraordinary degree session the student still has to take a maximum of 2 exams (including the internship laboratory) for a maximum of 24 CFU.
  • Are you really going to complete your master thesis? Check the progress of the work with your Supervisor
